Description

The Cleveland office of Fisher Phillips, an international management side labor and employment law firm, seeks an associate with 4-7 years of employment litigation experience for a litigation defense role, including drafting and responding to pleadings, managing discovery, drafting and arguing motions, as well as taking and defending depositions and participating in mediations and trials.  In addition to a busy litigation docket, you will work with and counsel clients on various day-to-day employment law challenges, drafting/revising handbooks and policies, manager training, and similar activities.

We know what factors are needed to provide excellent client service to our internal and external clients.  This means we are looking for attorneys with excellent academic credentials, strong writing and analytical skills, the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment, commitment to and empathy for their fellow team members, and a relentless commitment to personal growth and client service.  Successful candidate will be a self-starter with the ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.  Fisher Phillips is on the cutting edge when it comes to innovation and technology, and we seek team members who are eager to use these platforms.

Prior experience in employment law is required.  Must be admitted in Ohio.
