Tax Attorney and Bankruptcy Lawyer Kenneth L. Sheppard, Jr. started his law practice in Westerville, Ohio with a focus in the area of taxation law. He quickly came to the realization that many individuals as well as small businesses with with tax problems were also facing financial and debt issues. Thus, so to be able to provide the most benefit to his clients, Attorney Sheppard added consumer bankruptcy protection as an area of practice. He added bankruptcy as a practice area at about the same time that Congress enacted Bankruptcy Abuse Prevention and Consumer Protection Act of 2005 (BAPCPA), increasing the difficulty to qualify to file chapter 7 bankruptcy.
Ken found that at this time, those struggling with debt were even more in need of an Ohio bankruptcy attorney to hear their story and make available debt relief as well and bankruptcy options.
