SOPEC is a regional council of governments that functions as a shared energy office dedicated to providing innovative and sustainable energy solutions in Ohio. SOPEC is governed by a general assembly and board of directors made up of elected officials and representatives from its members. With a strong focus on community engagement and environmental stewardship, SOPEC is at the forefront of promoting green energy initiatives, including our Electric Aggregation Program, electric vehicle network expansion, solar assessments, grant writing assistance and more.
