Tyack Law Firm seeking an Associate Attorney to join our growing trial practice. This position offers hands-on experience in criminal defense, personal injury, and civil litigation, with courtroom appearances, client interaction, legal research and writing, trial preparation, and trial.

Responsibilities

• Represent clients in criminal defense, personal injury, and civil litigation matters.
• Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, briefs, memoranda, and other legal documents.
• Attend hearings, depositions, mediations, and court proceedings.
• Assist with trial preparation and participate in trials.
• Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, courts, experts, and witnesses.
• Review and analyze case files, evidence, medical records, and discovery materials.
• Travel to courts and related proceedings throughout the region as required.
• Maintain organized case management and meet litigation deadlines.

Requirements

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
• Licensed to practice law in Ohio or awaiting Ohio bar results.
• Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple matters in a fast-paced environment.
• Courtroom, clerkship, internship, or trial advocacy experience is a plus.
