Domestic Relations Attorney

Slater & Zurz, LLP is seeking an experienced, motivated, and results driven domestic relations attorney to join the firm.  The ideal candidate should have the ability to handle a large, active docket of domestic files and aggressively advocate for our clients.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and work up assigned domestic relations cases, including settlement negotiations, preparing pleadings, motion practice, research and writing, discovery, attendance at court conferences and hearings, litigating cases to judgment.
• Work with support teams within the firm.
• Maintain communication and positive relationships with clients.
• Supervise support staff.

Qualifications:

• Licensed to practice in Ohio.
• Ideal candidate will have 2+ years of experience, in the area of domestic relations.
• Excellent research, writing, interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
• Knowledge of NEOS case management software preferred.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work with others and contribute to a positive work environment to advance firm goals.
